In the month of February, we were challenged in the Word to STAND together and for each other. Who would have guessed that a short time later, we are being pushed to put our faith into action for the whole world to see. I want to remind you of what Paul encouraged the church in Ephesus to remember and implement. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” Ephesians 6:10 he goes on to write, “Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesians‬ ‭6:14-18‬ ‭(NIV)

We are standing together in prayer and faith for our church family locally and globally!

While many of us are out of town on Spring Break, I wanted to touch base with you about directives that our church leadership team is implementing to help our church face this current challenge that is causing panic and fear to abound. Before I go into these implementation’s, I want to remind us all that God is in complete control and is not surprised or shaken by the events that are shaking our health, economic, political, or educational communities. The blood of Jesus is powerful and we will see a victory!

I have instructed our leadership team to take extra health measures to ensure that our church is ready to take on the current challenges. Extra cleaning/sanitizing is taking place and I am asking for sanitation stations to be readily available at all entrances.

I urge us all be taking common sense measures that we should already be doing like washing our hands, and any other health measures that the CDC and other health agencies have advised us to be doing. Please don’t be offended if some people feel uncomfortable hugging, shaking hands, or getting close until this season passes. Please respect their wishes as we want everyone to feel relaxed and safe while encountering God at PRC. If you are sick, please stay at home and watch online through our website. Go to https://peerlessroadchurch.com/ and click the Encounter link. You can also give online at any time on the website. Your tithes, offerings, and faithfulness is very important to ensure the Gospel is being preached throughout the world!

We are a people of faith and not fear! Your continued support of Peerless Road Church and is greatly appreciated! Thank you for your faithfulness! We are STANDING together and we are always STRONGER together!
